Deprecation Notices
This page includes the notices of our intent to deprecate specific features. These features will be deprecated during a future (as yet unscheduled) release. Until a feature is deprecated, you can continue using it as you always have.
These deprecation notices describe future updates, which may change as product development plans or customer requirements change. For more information, please contact your Harness Support.
Investment Profile Categories in the Trellis Profile configuration
As part of release version 202409.1 we are discontinuing support for Investment Profile categories in the Trellis Profile configuration. This change will be implemented over the next week.

Investment profile and Effort Investment reports
We plan to deprecate the Investment profile and associated Effort Investment reports in upcoming releases. These will be replaced by the Business Alignment profile and a consolidated Business Alignment report.
The following reports will be deprecated as part of this:
Effort Investment Single Stat
Effort Investment by Engineer
Effort Investment Trend
Effort Alignment report
What's New
Business Alignment profile: Currently in BETA, will be made GA with the deprecation of the Investment profile.
Business Alignment report: This is a new report that displays your efforts distribution across the categories defined in the associated Business Alignment profile. This consolidates information from the existing three Effort Investment reports into a single report.
